An ideal lens for portraiture, the Canon EF-mount 85mm f/1.4 AF Lens from Rokinon is a short telephoto prime distinguished by its bright f/1.4 maximum aperture. This fast design, while benefitting its use in low light, also affords notable control over depth of field for selective focus applications. The optical design features one hybrid aspherical element, which helps to reduce spherical aberrations and distortion in order to realize high sharpness and clarity. Individual elements also feature an Ultra Multi-Coating, which suppresses flare and ghosting for greater contrast and color accuracy. Complementing the optical design is an Ultrasonic Dual Linear motor, which offers fast and quiet autofocus performance. Additionally, a rounded nine-blade diaphragm contributes to pleasing bokeh quality.

+ Portrait-length prime is designed for full-frame Canon EF-mount cameras, however can also be used on APS-C models where it provides a 136mm equivalent focal length.
+ Very bright f/1.4 maximum aperture benefits working in low-light conditions and offers great control over depth of field for isolating subjects and working with selective focus.
+ One hybrid aspherical element is used to reduce distortion and spherical aberrations for greater sharpness and accurate rendering.
+ An Ultra Multi-Coating has been applied to individual elements in order to reduce flare and ghosting for increased contrast and a neutral color balance.
+ Ultrasonic Dual Linear motor delivers quick, quiet autofocus performance. An AF/MF switch is also featured for seamless switching between focusing modes.
+ Internal focusing design maintains the overall lens length and prevents the front of the lens from rotating during use.
+ Rounded nine-blade diaphragm contributes to a smooth and pleasing bokeh quality.
+ Included lens hood helps to block stray light from causing flare and ghosting.

This is so helpful for photographers who can’t afford to go buy a new lens every time you get asked to do something new. I had a very important last minute concert I needed a lens for. I’m talking same day need. I called this place and within 4 minutes I was paying for my rental and picking it up within an hour following. The process was so easy. Also their prices are sooo fair. I am SO broke and this place was still very affordable. Lastly, I have terrible credit so I didn’t have a credit card to charge the “hold” which is the price of the lens. They offer a 3rd party insurance you can sign up for in literally a minute and cover the lens for like $15. This then allows you to use a debit card and wave the “hold”.  So long story short, this place is amazing. The rental process is great, the gear is top notch and in great shape. No scratches on lens. And very affordable. The customer service is also great.
