Thanks to the 1.4x Canon III Extender, this lens gives you an equivalent of a 98-280mm focal length at f3.5, with internal optical stabilization and cinevized focus/zoom rings for wireless FF. Perfect for sports, nature, ultra-telephoto and other applications that require a really long focal length.

It’s a modified Canon EF 70-200mm USM L-Series lens with f2.8 and internal optical stabilization, outfitted with standard Mod 0.8 cinevized gears on focus and zoom (allowing you to use wireless follow focus units on it like our Tilta Nucleus).

The EF 70-200mm F2.8 L IS USM is part of Canon’s highly regarded telephoto lineup in the L-Series. This is a lens which can truly be described as a professional workhorse, with robust build (including dust and moisture resistance), wide F2.8 maximum aperture, fast and silent ultrasonic autofocus motor, and optical image stabilization for hand-holding at slow shutter speeds, moving vehicles and a lot more.

4 UD elements to provide compensation for chromatic aberration. The lens provides a high-resolution, high-contrast optical capability, needing to perform all day, every day on your shoots.

Incorporating Canon’s second-generation Image Stabilization technology, this 70-200mm telephoto zoom responds in as little as 0.5 seconds while providing up to three stops of correction for camera shake. As a result, you can easily capture the far-off action of fast-paced sports or zoom in for an intimate look with a blurred background.

The lens’s autofocus (AF) system, meanwhile, has been refined for better response time and tracking speed. Constructed to pro standards, the EF 70-200mm f2.8L IS USM L-Series lens is highly dust- and moisture-resistant.

This is so helpful for photographers who can’t afford to go buy a new lens every time you get asked to do something new. I had a very important last minute concert I needed a lens for. I’m talking same day need. I called this place and within 4 minutes I was paying for my rental and picking it up within an hour following. The process was so easy. Also their prices are sooo fair. I am SO broke and this place was still very affordable. Lastly, I have terrible credit so I didn’t have a credit card to charge the “hold” which is the price of the lens. They offer a 3rd party insurance you can sign up for in literally a minute and cover the lens for like $15. This then allows you to use a debit card and wave the “hold”.  So long story short, this place is amazing. The rental process is great, the gear is top notch and in great shape. No scratches on lens. And very affordable. The customer service is also great.
